Passings
Paul Valiulis our lead guide last season has died while free diving in the Caribbean on October 30th. He had just entered medical school and planning on getting married this coming August. Paul was free diving a mile off the coast of Saba in the Dutch Antilles. His mask and snorkel were found at 80 feet but his body was never found. There was a viking funeral in Jasper on Saturday the 24th.
He leaves behind a daughter and wife to be. We’ve renamed a couple of runs in Paul’s memory and to remind us how much fun we had “working” with him. Every day was a blast and he will be sorely missed. Next time you ski Paul’s Boutique or Big Blue on Tricouni, crank a turn for Paul. If you have any photos or memories you would like to share with Meghanne and Tekarra his daughter, you can email them to meghanne_reburn@yahoo.com. She’d love to share your memories of Paul.

Bloody hell, I didn't know about Paul. For sure there are worse ways to go, but that's terrible timing. It's a shock. He was a good guy and a good guide.
