With the name Piers Paul Reid  (author of “Alive”) in the back of my head we took off with our buddy Jack from The Loft hair salon in Whistler to fly over the Powder Mountain Ski Area and take some photos.  Beautiful day for flying. Too bad I didn’t have any Skynyrd, Buddy Holly, Jim Croce or Stevie Ray Vaughn for the ipod. Lead Guide Paul took the controls for a while on the way to PM’s area. Then we flew around the ski area being stoked to see it from the sky. After landing in Squamish and refueling, Jack let me fly the plane back to Pemberton. ( He took off and landed) Basically he did the smart part and I did the steering. Still it was fun carving around the sky making ourselves weightless and having some good laughs. Thanks Jack! If you are in Whistler and you are looking a little unkempt, Jack is the guy to see.
