What a season!!!!

31. March 2008 mike

Well it's officially the saddest day of the season.  Today marked the closing of Powder Mountain till the 08'-09' season.  What a season it has been and what a great day for our last one.   Starting blue bird in the morning with nice fluffy snow the day progressed into light flurries and there was fresh lines for all.

The cat puts the road in to Vinnie's one last time for the season....just look at all that fresh!

Ken lays one in like its the last till next season....

Our crew from Germany, Australia, Seattle, the UK and Whistler wait to drop in......

Cruising 3000 feet down the glacier....

Shots like this make me miss it already!!!!!

Thanks from everyone at Powder Mountain to all those that came out this season.....Without you this wouldn't be possible.  See you next year.

PS:  Keep your eyes posted for the epic ride cards for the 08'-09' season

Epic day to say the least!

26. March 2008 mike

Today was nothing short of amazing.  Last nights 20 cm of pure blower pow combined with 15 from the night before made for the sweet deep and fluffy runs that get you all giddy inside.  Our guests couldn't help but let out random shouts of powder bliss as they cruised Tricouni's bounty getting lap after lap of what looked like the aftermath of an early January storm cycle.  Our crew from Japan, Mexico and the UK left with powder grins so big that any passers by would have wondered where they had be skiing and how they could get some of the action.  Call today to get in on some of this epic late winter snow.   Today's lead guide Ty passed on his sandwich and opted for the organic powder instead.

There's no need to check your calender...yes this is March 26th baby! Sweeeet trees...

I'll have the powder with a side of face shots please! Where's Kyoko? Luis Miguel becomes one with the slope.... Kaya enjoying a slice of the good life.... Toshiya ain't never ridin powder so deep... Steep+Deep...Does it get any better?

Diego pops out of the trees into his own private bowl... Tail guide extrodinaire Seamus steams up the rear makin sure no man is left behind.

Summers coming before you know and these days will be over till next year call Shelley at 1-877-PWDR-FIX to book one of the final seats for the season!!!!!!
