The sun finally went away and took the gross crust layer with it. We got 25 cm’s overnight so it was an awesome day. It felt a bit like Colorado. Snowed all night and then the sun came out and the pow was light and the air was cold so it was about as great a day as you could ask for. Old school snowboarder Matt Vining, AKA “Boy Aggro”, came from San Clemente and said it was worth the travel time. He rode his road bike from California to Calgary once so he knows about “Travel Time”
Tomohiro, Meyumo and Kohei were Japanese turning and had a blast. The sun came out and we had about 25cm’s fresh so the conditions were perfect. Jake Walker was ripping it up with Matt, blazing some straight lines and throwing some pow walls up. Bert Jeff and Sean had hero snow as well, nothing like a good pair of fat skis to make a good day epic. Good times for sure when everyone everyone has such great snow and good times.
